About Us

Afghanistan Research Development and Health organization (ARDHO) is a non-governmental, non-profit and humanitarian organization registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan, established in 2019 by a group of young, energetic, motivated, and highly committed youth to address the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Afghanistan to improve and develop the socio-economic status of the underprivileged and disadvantaged rural communities in Afghanistan.

Vision:

We envision a poverty-free society, socially and economically self-reliant where all Afghans regardless of gender are empowered to make positive changes in their lives by exercising their rights in all spheres of their lives with dignity.

Mission:

ARDHO operates national wide with the overarching aim of preserving lives, eradicating poverty, and fostering the realization of social justice. ARDHO reaches out to the marginalized sections of the society, especially the underprivileged and disadvantaged rural communities, to protect, improve, upgrade and enrich their lives through sustainable development initiatives such as education, research, health, conflict resolution, productive and sustainable livelihood programs, disaster risk management and emergency response mechanism.
